  Weather Radios
The weather radios that are being sold through the Manteno Police Department need to be programmed with the code for Kankakee County, the code is 017091. The instructions explain how to program the county code. The first thing that you must do with the radio is remove the back cover and remove the clear plastic tab to engage the batteries. The Manteno Police would like to remind residents to lock your vehicles and do not leave your keys in your vehicle. This small act of prevention could deter thieves from entering your vehicle and stealing your property and/or your vehicle.
