The Village of Manteno Board of Trustees approved an ordinance (Ordinance 10-21) on March 21, 2011 that creates rules for public participation at all public meetings. The rules are listed below.
The public is asked to provide their name and address along with the topic they wish to speak about on the sign up sheet at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the meeting. The presiding officer will call each person when the time is appropriate during the meeting. The public may also call the Village Hall and ask to be added to the sign up sheet prior to the date of the meeting.
